Linguistic Note

Pou and Apré can both be used when talking about something or someone. Pou is generally used when talking about a person or animate object. Apré is primarily used when talking about a thing or an inanimate object. Below are some examples of their usage.

N’ap sharé pou li We’re chatting about him

N’ap sharé apré sô shar We’re chatting about his car
