Creole Classes
This fall, C.R.E.O.L.E., Inc. is offering in-person Creole language classes in the month of October, also known as Creole Heritage Month. For 4-weeks, you will have the opportunity to learn our heritage language in a fun and interactive setting while being taught by some of our most seasoned Creole language educators. Classes will be held on October 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th at The Knights of Peter Claver 1019 Surrey St., Lafayette, LA 70501 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm CST. Registration is $50 and the last day to register is October 1st, 2025. To pay online, press on the donation button, select the appropriate amount, and add the text “Class registration” in the comment section.

Creole Table and Jam
Join us for the Creole Lala, hosted by our treasurer, Colby Angelle Martin. This event includes a Creole table followed by a Creole Jam Session on Tuesday, August 19, at Feed n Seed in Lafayette. Come get ready for Festival International with us. This event is entirely free and open to all. The Creole table is from 6:00pm - 7:00pm. Following the table is the Jam from 7:00pm - 9:00pm. Additionally, there will be a selection of vendors available for shopping. Come eat, play, and dance with us to celebrate our culture!

Creole Culture Day
Join us for our 2025 Creole Culture Day, Sunday, June 8, to celebrate the unique Creole culture of Louisiana such as our food, traditions, and music. This event, organized by Vermilionville and C.R.E.O.L.E. Inc., demonstrates and celebrates the contributions of the Louisiana Creole community to the culture of Louisiana. More information to come! Le Rassemblement de la Louisianophonie
Join us for Le Rassemblement de la Louisianophonie, an event that unites French and Creole-speakers during Festival International de Louisiane in Lafayette from April 26 to April 27, 2025. This event, organized by C.R.E.O.L.E Inc. and Alliance Française, with the support of CODOFIL, International Organization of the Francophonie, and The Center of the French Speaking Americas, proposes a weekend of discussions and activities centered on the issues that affect Louisiana and its linguistic heritage.
